Dr. Sam Carpentier, M.D., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma, and MIGS (minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery). Dr. Carpentier completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ph.D. at the University of Washington, and M.D. at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. During his time in medical school he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical student honor society. He then completed his intern year at the University Colorado before completing his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest, where he was chosen to be chief resident.

Very good at explaining the relative risks and timeframes.
Made me feel very comfortable. I didn't feel hurried or that I couldn't ask him anything I might like to know. He was very thorough in his explanations .
