He was direct, and I did agree with his diagnosis and care plan, however his affect was flat. I do wish he was a bit more interactive. I do realize this was our first time meeting, and no one was as interactive as Dr. Dansdill was!

Dr. Tariq has very good visual active listening skills. Unfortunately, he treats fibromyalgia as a mental health disorder. refuses fresh imaging, is not familiar with Ehlers Danlos sub types and asserted that a person could not have Vascular Ehlers Danlos unless they've had an aneurysm. He seems biased towards middle aged, overweight, economically challenged women. I was made to feel like my visit was a waste of his time, my symptoms weren't valid, previous diagnosis were unimportant and did not address Pain Management.

He has been absolutely excellent so far in the short time I have gotten to know him and his care of patients feelings, bedside manners and all of the above….so wherever this bumpy curvy road takes me that I’ve been on for the past years I trust him taking the wheel. I’ve had so many health issues the past few years with pain, many sleepless nights from the pain waking me up from such severe EXTENSIVE BURNING like almost comparable to a burn from a fire then to sleep and right back over again!! sleep with the same thing being told to me that it’s just that old arthritis and changes in weather, fronts moving through and this and that. It was in March 2023 I had a very bad fall and hurt my back more than what I thought it was hurt and or damage from the past or caused from what was called just “regular old arthritis which because of frustration I hesitated even following through

Dr Tariq is an amazing rheumatologist. He listens to my concerns and always addresses whatever I need. He makes sure I’m okay with his plans and does regular visits to make sure everything is doing well. He is kind and compassionate and very educated in his field. He is a must see for autoimmune disorders.

Straight Too The Point

Not impressed. I am former long term patient of Dr Olson and was always treated with respect and compassion. I feel I’m just a number now. He has made no attempt to to get to know me as a person. This past visit lasted less than 10 minutes and he didn’t even examine my joints. Seriously considering switching to UW Madison where I know I’ll get comprehensive and compassionate care.

Goes through routine. “I’m going to listen to your heart”, just a tap with the stethoscope. “I’m going to listen to your stomach”, 2 taps of the stethoscope. He never listened to anything. He asked me to resist his push with my arms, touched my arms for 1/10th second but never pushed. I respect his knowledge and diagnosis but he isn’t really doing an exam. Very Impersonal.

I would not recommend, he never addressed the actual problem that I was there for. Not once did he mention why my lips turn blue and my fingertips turn white. Quick to say depression is the reason for my pain, and was very condescending. I've been going through a divorce, I'm not clinically depressed and never have been. I don't have an auto immune disorder so hes not interested , his bedside manner sucks.

I was seeing Dr. Tariq and he informed me I had Kidney Disease in which he saw on my chart. I called Dr. Zaidi's office and the nurse called me back and told me I had stage 3 kidney disease. I had not idea and was never told this. If it had not been for Dr. Tariq. This is very upsetting and a lot to take in as this was such a surprise. They told me things I should be doing and what I should not be doing. It sounds like I have had this for a while, I am worried and upset. Mary Miller
