Dr. Stephens completed his undergraduate studies at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, before completing his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama, and at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During his time at Wake Forest School of Medicine, he completed his internship in urology and went on to become the chief resident.
Since joining Urology Associates of Mobile, Dr. Stephens has also continued research in the field as part of Coastal Clinical Research in Mobile, Alabama, and serving as the principal and sub-investigator in multiple urological clinical research investigations.
Certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Stephens has given many lectures over the years and is affiliated with Infirmary Health’s Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama. He is also a member of the Medical Society of Mobile County, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, National Board of Examiners, and Alabama Board of Medical Examiners. He is a resident member of the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association.
When he is not spending time with patients, Dr. Stephens enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, as well as a playing good game of golf.

VERY GREAT DOCTOR, VERY CARING, AND HELPFUL IN DECISION MAKING.
My visit was very informative, all my questions were answered before I even had an opportunity to ask them. My options were explained in detail, along with the ceveats as well as the ultimate goal of the treatment. It was an honest assessment with a plan in place to hopefully mitigate, or in a best case scenario, possibly even cure my condition. I wasn't looking forward to this appointment, but Dr. Stephens put me at ease immediately and was honest about the success rate of the treatment we're going to go with. I felt much better after I left, I felt like a load had been lifted from my shoulders because a plan is now in place to address my situation and I can move forward and make plans to prepare for my treatment.
