Dr. Tarr is very professional, courteous & efficient. Had trigger fingure procedure with local anesthesia & all went well. Hannah assisted & was exceptional. Highly recommend both of them.

Dr. Tarr was awesome! He explained everything to me perfectly and I was able to follow my treatment plan and after visit notes. I am excited to work with him and have him as part of my Healthcare team.
Dr. Ryan Tarr attended the University of New England with high honors in Biology. He then attended and received his Doctor of Medicine from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His postdoctoral training includes residencies at the Kettering Medical Center working at Grandview, Southview, and Kettering hospital's specializing in orthopedic surgery. After his residency, he completed his fellowship at Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center specializing in hand surgery.
Dr. Tarr relocated to North Carolina in 2020 after completing his fellowship. He specializes in general orthopedic surgery, elbow surgery, hand surgery, and shoulder surgery. He is board eligible with the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, ASSH, American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, AAOS, and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, AOAO. Dr. Tarr currently resides in the Triangle area with his family.
