I suffered with sciatica for a very long time. Dr. Schnetzer performed my microdiscectomy and I never felt any more sciatic pain after I woke up from surgery. I did have some nerve pain in my foot but he and Kayla Kell worked with me and that is now almost completely gone. 2 months out and I feel amazing. Excellent Dr and stafff.

I was nervous about having an epidural but he told me what was happening as he did it and that relaxed me. Also, the entire staff was pleasant and friendly.

Dr. Ryan Schnetzer is a homegrown, board-certified, fellowship-trained, orthopaedic spine surgeon. He completed his degree graduating cum-laude while playing football on two SEC Championship teams for the University of Georgia. While at the University of Georgia, Dr. Schnetzer received the SEC Male Scholar-Athlete Award, Coaches Senior Leadership Award, and achieved the SEC Academic Honor Roll three years running. His special interests include treating mechanical and neurological disorders of the spine, disc replacement, spine deformity, and instability. He is certified in the latest minimally invasive robot-assisted techniques for nerve decompression and fusion that provides for a shorter hospital stay, less recovery time, less blood loss, and hyper-accurate hardware placement.
Dr. Schnetzer has authored numerous national medical journal articles, medical textbook chapters, and has presented on a national level.
