“It’s essential to provide patients with as much information and as many options as possible to create a tailored medical plan that works best for them. Often, non-operative treatment is the best approach, but when surgery is required, I rely on evidence-based procedures to create reproducible outcomes.”
His other interests include problems with hands, forearms, elbows, shoulders and general fractures. To preserve mussel and tendons, he prefers to use minimally invasive techniques when appropriate.
Dr. Patterson has published numerous scientific articles and presented many research studies in orthopedics and hand surgery regionally, nationally and internationally.

Really liked him and the information and time he took to explain it. Awesome.
Dr Patterson has been very personable. He shows lots of care and concern to his patients.. He is very professional and knowledgeable to the care he provides! He listens. Thankyou to Dr Patterson , Christian, and the ladies at the front desk for being who you are!
Dr Patterson was very nice and explained everything to me. It made me feel better finding out what’s was wrong with my hand.
Dr. Patterson is very personable and doesn't waste any time!
You will not find a better doctor anywhere! Don’t look in the big city’s! The best orthopedic doctor you can find is right here at Azalea!! I have seen Doctor Patterson for 3 different injuries and he has been top notch every time!
Not only is Dr. Patterson very knowledgeable, experienced, a good listener, and compassionate, but interacting with him in the office appointments is enjoyable. While he's serious in dealing with the challenge of pain and inflammation in my hand, he also has a lighthearted spirit that reveals his fun side! I'm so glad he was recommended to me by both my ortho (shoulder) surgeon and also my functional medicine physician.
Very cool 😎 and helpful and knowledgeable
Very nice person
I've been seeing Dr. Patterson for a broken thumb for three + months and had had nothing but good progress. Dr. Patterson is very good at his work and I have nothing derogatory to say about him. A+.
Fantastic first visit.
