Dr. Ryan G. Molli, D.O., FAAHKS, FAAOS, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Whole Health Orthopedic Institute, which opened in January 2018. A native of Northwestern Pennsylvania, Dr. Molli completed his undergraduate education at Mercyhurst College and earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Erie, Pennsylvania.
He completed a five-year orthopaedic surgery residency in the Metro-Detroit area through the St. John–Providence Health System, followed by an intensive one-year Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Fellowship in Columbus, Ohio. After fellowship training, Dr. Molli practiced as an Adult Reconstruction specialist in a private practice setting in the Metro-Detroit area before returning to his hometown of Meadville, Pennsylvania in 2015.
Dr. Molli founded Whole Health Orthopedic Institute with a vision of creating an Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Center of Excellence centered on sub-specialty orthopedic care and the complete patient experience. The practice was built on principles of pre-operative risk stratification, medical optimization, comprehensive patient education, and exceptional surgical and post-surgical care, supported by ongoing data-driven research and innovative practice development initiatives.
Dr. Molli has been published in multiple peer-reviewed medical journals and actively participates in ongoing clinical research. He established the Whole Health Research Institute and Molli Medical Consulting Company (M2C2), an orthopaedic implant, instrumentation, and practice development consulting firm. He remains committed to continually refining both surgical and practice methodologies in pursuit of best-practice standards and improved patient outcomes.
