Again, Dr Unger exceeded my expectations. He developed a new procedure as we work on pain management. He is professional, great bedside mannerism and an all around great person that is excited to see me as his patient/me, and that he is passionate about his chosen career. I highly recommend.

I was really impressed, now
That I was allowed a few minutes to discuss my health with him. He seems very knowledgeable and personable to me. I have various health concerns that keep me keeping 7 doctors going. I believe some people feel that I may be a hypochondriac since much of my life involves doctors and meds. It couldn’t be farther from the truth. I get to the point that I feel like I wish one thing would flair up and bring me peace.

Communications is key to diagnosing pain, and Dr. Unger works closely with patients to find the root cause. His in-depth knowledge of pain disorders and using different diagnostic tests to pinpoint the cause of pain is critical in the implementation of a customized treatment plan. All procedures are done on an outpatient basis, and diagnostic tests such as X-rays and MRIs can be performed at Fox Valley Orthopedics.
