Dr. Perry’s treatment toward me feels as if he is stressed and in a hurry to see me quickly and then move on to the next patient. I’ve been seeing Dr. Perry for over a year now, and his treatment has consistently been very hostile and arrogant. I associate this with my Latino appearance and my limited English. I try to speak it, and I do, but it takes me time, and with him always short on time and stressed, he doesn’t take the time needed to understand me.
I used to bring my translator, but one day he approached my translator alone with his assistant and questioned her, asking if she was recording—which is ridiculous. He assumed that just because she had a phone in the pocket of the coat they provided her.
Everyone else is very kind, pleasant, and helpful. Jorge Monje, in particular, is excellent in his work. I mention him because on several occasions he has attended my appointments and even given diagnoses that Dr. Perry later assumes came from me. For example,
