Visit was good. Prescription wasn't covered by insurance. My pharmacy and I attempted several times to request new script. No response for a week. Giving up on trying and will let him know next visit.

I have been going to Dr Pipek for 2 years now and am pleased with him and the care he provides. I only negative is the difficulty in contacting someone in his office getting thru your system is very difficult and confusing.

Dr. Ruben J. Pipek, MD is originally from Uruguay, where he obtained his medical degree from the University of the Republic – Uruguay. He continued his medical studies in Canada and Israel and then completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology in San Antonio, Texas at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Pipek served in teaching positions and published numerous articles and research papers before coming to Brevard in 2001. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Pipek sees patients with various endocrine conditions including diabetes, osteoporosis, disorders involving the thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and parathyroid glands, cholesterol/lipid disorders, Testosterone replacement therapy, hypertension, and other general endocrine conditions.
Dr. Pipek is fluent in 5 languages including English, Spanish, Hebrew, French, and Portuguese. He enjoys soccer, swimming, playing drums, and traveling.
