Dr. Roxanna M. Twedt, MD, is a board-certified specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology. Her lifelong fascination with reproductive sciences, combined with her analytical background as a former biostatistician for the State of Nevada Division of Public Health, led her to a distinguished career in high-risk obstetric care.
Dr. Twedt earned her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. She then completed both her residency and her advanced fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the prestigious Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
Her clinical approach and expertise include:

The best
Doctor Twedt was very kind and considerate of our thoughts and feelings as parents who found ourselves in on the position of expecting a child who was not expected to survive after birth. At times, I felt like a could have used a deeper explanation for some of the genetic challenges facing our baby. Overall, we experienced comfort and support during the difficult journey of preparing for the birth of our daughter.
She’s great! Informative, and made me feel so comfortable every visit!
