Dr. Ross Bunch

Ross Bunch, M.D., a board-certified plastic surgeon, exemplifies this mastery with his extensive education, training, and experience. Dr. Bunch, a native of Houma, LA, began his journey at Nicholls State University before pursuing his medical training at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. After completing his general surgery training, he further honed his skills as a plastic surgery resident in the esteemed LSU/Charity Hospital program. During this time, Dr. Bunch received extensive training in the delicate art of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. He had the privilege of working alongside world-renowned facial cosmetic surgeons, which greatly contributed to his expertise.

One of Dr. Bunch's notable achievements is his acceptance into the prestigious Rhinoplasty Society, an honor reserved for top surgeons in the field of rhinoplasty. Additionally, Dr. Bunch has advanced training in endoscopic cosmetic procedures, including endoscopic breast augmentation, forehead lifts, and mid-face lifts. These procedures are a regular part of his weekly surgical schedule at Plastic Surgery of Tuscaloosa, where he continues to bring his artistic vision to life.

As an active member of the medical community in the Tuscaloosa area, Dr. Bunch is an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama’s School of Medicine and is an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgery, as well as the National Rhinoplasty Society. He is an active supporter University of Alabama’s Cancer Center, where he is a guest lecturer on breast cancer support techniques. In addition, he regularly gives lectures on bariatric surgical procedures and their unique requirements for plastic surgeons.
