Dr. Roshan Patel, O.D.'s, remarkable journey in the field of optometry has been a testament to his unwavering dedication and continuously evolving expertise during his tenure at Advanced Laser and Cataract Center. Over the course of these years, he has assumed a leadership role within our practice, guiding the way in preoperative screenings and postoperative care for all our surgical patients. Furthermore, Dr. Patel has established himself as a pivotal figure in our community, cultivating relationships with fellow optometrists who routinely refer patients to our office for a range of surgical procedures, including Cataracts, Lens Replacement, and EVO ICL.

Dr. Patel's affinity for optometry began with an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma, followed by the attainment of his Doctorate in Optometry from the prestigious Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. His connection to Advanced Laser and Cataract Center traces back to his final year at Northeastern State when he embarked on an externship with us. Dr. Patel has further honed his skills through personal training under the guidance of Dr. Belardo, solidifying his position as a leader in corneal health and post-operative care for Cataracts, Lens Replacements, and EVO ICL. His educational foundation has been instrumental in shaping his career, although his true passion resides in achieving clinical excellence and delivering exceptional patient care.

Armed with certification in anterior segment laser procedures and a diverse repertoire of minor eye procedures, Dr. Patel possesses the expertise necessary to deliver top-tier eye care. He is among the select few Optometrists in the state who routinely utilize lasers and stands as a trailblazer in treatments involving the Light Adjustable Lens. His extensive professional experience has been particularly vital in managing patients with various conditions, including diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, corneal dystrophies, and procedures such as INTACS, ICL, Cross Linking, as well as the surgical co-management of cataracts and Lens Replacement patients.

Dr. Patel's commitment to community service is unwavering and far-reaching. He has consistently devoted his time and skills to organizations such as volunteering at Giving Sight Day with fellow Optometrists, Special Olympics, and the Big Event. Dr. Patel's altruistic spirit extends even further, as he personally extends his support to Indian villages by providing essential food and supplies to children in need. His dedication to serving the less fortunate is unwavering, and he envisions a future where he continues to create a positive impact throughout his career.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Patel finds profound fulfillment in his family life. He is happily married to Krishna Patel, a dedicated RN at the OU Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City. They eagerly anticipate the day they can expand their family, embracing the journey of parenthood. In his leisure time, Dr. Patel enjoys a diverse array of interests, including fitness, sports, hiking, and treasured moments spent with friends.
