Ronit Shah, MD

Dr. Ronit Shah, M.D., completed residency training at Temple University Hospital Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He also completed additional fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction (Joint Replacement) from the University of Miami and is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care.

Dr. Ronit Shah is board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

He treats a broad range of orthopedic conditions, including joint pain, arthritis, avascular necrosis, hip and knee conditions, sports injuries, fractures, and trauma. His approach emphasizes accurate diagnosis, clear communication, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Whenever appropriate, Dr. Shah prioritizes non-surgical treatment options, such as physical therapy, medications, and minimally invasive procedures, to relieve pain and restore mobility. When surgery is necessary, he selects the least invasive and most effective technique for the patient’s condition. His surgical expertise includes minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques designed to enhance precision, as well as anterior and posterior approaches for hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, and complex joint replacement procedures.

Dr. Shah has a strong professional interest in hip and knee research. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented at national meetings, and remains committed to advancing orthopaedic care through ongoing education and collaboration.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Shah enjoys playing tennis and recreational basketball, as well as exploring nearby parks.
