Definitely courteous, and had a good treatment algorithm in mind and explained it well. But presentation seemed doctrinaire and with little attention to my exact concerns about diagnosis/etiology. Unwillingness to discuss physical therapy modalities was a definite minus.

Dr. Ron Patel is professional in all respects and provides a personal touch in being a physician.

When scheduling my appt no one told me I had to stop taking my baby aspirin. So I got on the table and was ask the question I honestly answered but they would not do the procedure.

Short notice cancels consistently. I have lost wages due to being short notice cancelled at least four times in the last six appointments. He's nice enough, but if you have a full time job or are in a great deal of pain, steer clear of this doctor because you will be cancelled on. And his office doesn't even have a cancellation procedure - you have to make a whole new appointment at the next available opening as if you didn't already have an appointment. This has caused a great deal of unnecessary suffering on my part. He is nice enough and quite competent, so I suppose he'd be a good choice if you didn't need pain management or have a job.

Expected MRI but was told this was a follow up appointment. Tried to re-schedule it. However, they said that the insurance wouldn't cover it. And that I needed to call my PCP to get a referral. The doctor was in a hurry and I wasted my time today.

Dr Patel is a great Dotor. The staff is needs a lot more help on anwering the phone and I did not call backs at all very disapounting.

Waited over 40i minutes after appointment time, talked with his assistant for 5 - 10 min answering questions I already answered in one of many appointment confirmations. Took in my CD for MRI, then spent less than 5 min with doctor. He really did not seem to hear what I was telling him. Very disappointed. It felt like a drive thru.

Did not even see my 4 year history with pain problem and my health records. He recommends surgery. He was in a hurry to leave. Did not even talk about the X-rays he got done. He did not even see my 3 MRI's done in 2022 and say my MRI is 2 year old.

First appointment with Dr. Patel we went over my problem and talked about what needs to be done first. I liked his suggestion.

He was thoughtful, attentive, listened to me closely, asked insightful questions, explained his thinking, approach, asked for input, made a detailed plan.

Dr. Patel was exceptional. His demeanor was fantastic - he was easy to caring, easy to talk with and asked if you had any questions for him! Dr. Patel was very thorough with his exam and inquired about the injury incident prior to beginning the exam.

He was patient and asked several questions to understand the issues that the patient was experiencing.

Dr Patel is phenomenal!! I went to a previous pain specialist that was harsh and flippant toward my concerns. Dr Patel completely eased my mind and is so personable.
