His philosophy of care is that pain is only one sign of an underlying disease. Moreover, chronic pain is a sign that the current/past treatments are not helping. The use of narcotic and non-narcotic pain medications, as well as appropriate procedural interventions should be individually considered for each patient and can be used as a means to buy time for the source of the pain to be identified, and ultimately best treated. For those times that the source of the pain is well-known and has been treated as well as possible, then the ongoing use of medications and procedures becomes an option to allow continued/preserved function.

The best
Took his time and explained the problems with both my neck and lower back.
I have received wonderful care.
Good service. Listens and explains very well.
Great doctor
Love his personality and how down to earth he is!!
Dr.Boeding is one of the best doctors I have seen. I have seen many many doctors. He has not given up to try & help me with pain when many doctors have. He’s very caring & kind.
He talked about possibly tapering my pain meds in next few months which I did not agree w/ but needed to talk w/ my other doctor who has tx'd my SCI since it began, to see if he could talk w/ Dr Bodien about not doing that.. He had cut my medication in half immediately w/o letting me know he was doing so. It was not appropriate or ethical, for the nerve pain I will always have to deal with. He did the opposite of what we discussed in the appt.. I have tried to talk with his office about having him call me but he never seems to get the message that he needs to call me!
Dr Boeding is excellent. Takes time and explains things good. I also had the BEST Rep from Biotronik! We talked ever day and kept tweaking the stimulator until it was perfect. From an average of 8 or 10 to a 2 or 3 for pain. I am so impressed.
Very professional. Didn’t rush us. Gave us time to ask our questions.
