Sorry to score that but after scheduling an appt with Dr. Izquierdo and waiting for that day then over an hour to be seen I never met him . A PA came in instead / she was very kind but no explanation why I was not seeing the doctor . I’m assuming they were backed up thus the wait but then plz communicate with me what’s going on . Was disappointing . I would love to meet Dr. Izquierdo I’ve only heard great things & referred to him by Dr. Bonenkamp

Dr Izquierdo has performed both of my shoulder replacements.I now have full range of motion in both shoulders. My left shoulder was just replaced April 6 and today June 8 I can do everything! Awesome Doctor to have treating me.

I've completed 6 months of treatment on my right shoulder rotator cuff rebuild in June of 2021. I am pleased and even surprised at the way the shoulder has recovered from the surgery. The description of the damage in the shoulder included words like massive and severe. Physical therapy twice a week for 5.5 months. I quickly regained FULL range of motion working hard with the PT people and continued to maintain range and gain strength. I still have a good way to go to regain full strength for archery but now I am confident I will be able to continue in the sport. I am thankful for an excellent surgeon.

I have seen Dr. Izquirdo for a torn supraspinatus and a torn meniscus. He performed surgery on my knee and we rehabbed my shoulder with PT. I recently dislocated my shoulder an I am sure Dr. Izquirdo will do a thorough job of getting me back to my fitness activities. I am a fitness coach and avid outdoorsman. He understands that I need to be back to 100% quickly. If there's any negatives it's that he doesn't explain everything very clearly and sort of rushes through things if he's behind schedule.
