Dr. Patel has clinical interests in all medical and surgical disorders of the ear, nose and throat, with a particular focus on the management of hearing pathology in adults and children.
Dr. Patel did not physically examine my head, neck or inside my mouth as exclaimed in his visit report. My reason for the appointment was not my 24 year loss of smell. I mentioned that 24 yr. old issue as a secondary concern to the pain and bleeding I experienced 6/13/25. I had requested Dr. Coker when I called for the appointment. I am not sure if it was necessary for the nasal procedure he performed was in relation to my ear.
Patient and pleasant. Not overly talkative but seems willing to answer questions presented to him.
Listened to my concerns a made appropriate follow-up testing.
Went in to find out about removal of bone spur. While he did give us the answer, I am not happy with the rest of the visit. He kept inquiring about the CPAP machine when we initially told him I was not happy with it and decided to go with the mouthpiece as I did qualify. Majority of his conversation kept circling back to the CPAP. Finally, my gf stated again that I will not be going back on a CPAP and will be using the mouthpiece. He also brought up the Inspire route which is the implant. We were in there with him for maybe 5 minutes and 30 seconds was on what really wanted to talk about. I came to this appointment as it was a referral from my sleep Dr. I know that Dr's work together and will refer patients to the same practices dependant on the situation. Very obvious that no information was reviewed prior to coming into the room to speak to me. Felt like I was just a number and was quickly pushed out.
His approach is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. He was very professional and discussed with me my options. I would highly recommend him as your provider.
Thorough, the best, listens, explains. Wonderful
Seemed abrupt and as though he was going through the motions. There were test ordered but no explanation of whether what was observed was normal or abnormal. Not enough explanation of processes/tools during service.
Very timely and informative
Very knowledgeable and competent
The best!!
