Dr. Roger J. Yau, M.D., is a urologist practicing with Urology Specialists of the Carolinas at their Matthews, North Carolina office. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington before earning his medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Yau then completed his urology residency at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center and went on to complete a specialized fellowship in Endourology: Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
He treats a wide array of general and specialized conditions, including prostate and kidney cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, and erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Yau has been recognized with several distinct awards, including the Joseph C. Addonizio, M.D., Memorial Award and multiple skills challenge and research awards from the American Urological Association.
