Dr. Powell is committed to taking the time needed with each patient to listen and determine the best treatment plan. In 2016, White-Wilson Medical Center's Cardiology Clinic was voted best cardiologist on the Emerald Coast. In 2018, Dr. Powell was voted best cardiologist in Destin.
Very thorough
I only use him to follow my Cholesterol.
A little longer than usual between nurse and doctor today, but they seemed busy. Dr. Powell was as usual, personable, down to earth, and straightforward.
Staff was initially confused. Why was there had no record of my appointment Dr. Powell didn’t seem too concerned about my thoughts about my treatment plan. The nurse doing my EKG had several problems, connecting the leads and was having issues. bottom line is he refused to sign off hernia surgery that I needed. so we’ll probably go to Sacred Heart. Have good things about them….

Dr. Powell was kind and attentive. He listened carefully, answered all my questions, and made me feel at ease throughout my visit. I felt comfortable discussing my health concerns.
