Dr. Rodney Powell, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Powell attended Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, NC, where he received his medical doctor degree. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of South Florida in Tampa before moving to the Emerald Coast, where he has been practicing ever since.
Dr. Powell is committed to taking the time needed with each patient to listen and determine the best treatment plan. In 2016, White-Wilson Medical Center's Cardiology Clinic was voted best cardiologist on the Emerald Coast. In 2018, Dr. Powell was voted best cardiologist in Destin.
