A native of Virginia and Penn State College of Medicine graduate Dr. Rodney E. Brenneman, M.D. joined OAL in 2014. He is a board certified, orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement procedures, including total knee, hip and shoulder replacement surgery.
Dr. Brenneman currently serves as Chief of the Division of Orthopedics at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital. In addition to his work with OAL, Dr. Brenneman has participated in multiple medical mission trips, including work in Honduras. Outside of taking care of his patients, Dr. Brenneman enjoys spending time with his family. In addition, he enjoys biking & unicycling, running, and playing the guitar.

Prompt and thorough treatment and strategies for the future
Dr Brenneman is a wonderful doctor! He is very caring and professional and my mother thinks he’s the best doctor there is .
He was very attentive. I felt heard and I very much appreciated his knowledge and expertise.
Explains procedures and answers questions regardless of understanding our poor delivery of questions we have asked him.
Dr Brenneman is patient and listens to my concerns. He provides thorough information that is easily understood and answers questions using visuals where appropriate. I am very happy with both my pre- and post- op care.
