A native of Virginia and Penn State College of Medicine graduate Dr. Rodney E. Brenneman, M.D. joined OAL in 2014. He is a board certified, orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement procedures, including total knee, hip and shoulder replacement surgery.
Dr. Brenneman currently serves as Chief of the Division of Orthopedics at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital. In addition to his work with OAL, Dr. Brenneman has participated in multiple medical mission trips, including work in Honduras. Outside of taking care of his patients, Dr. Brenneman enjoys spending time with his family. In addition, he enjoys biking & unicycling, running, and playing the guitar.

A great Doctor I will see that other people know about him
He’s the nicest doctor. He talks to you, he listens to you, he’ll ask if you have any questions for him. I would recommend him to anybody a friend of mine gave me his name. She was very pleased with him and how he helped her so much I would give him a 10 star.

I was very pleased, with Dr Brenneman’s kindness. I appreciated that he did not rush to surgery but prepared a plan where strength building, pain relief are steps prior to surgery.

Dr. Brenneman is an extremely kind, compassionate surgeon. Very happy I chose him. My TKR could not have gone any better. Dr. Brenneman addressed all my concerns and anxieties and explained everything that was going to happen before being taken to the OR. Would highly recommend him and OAL!
Dr. Brenneman is tops! He listens and he is calm when he answers. My daughters always come along when I have an appointment because of his manner.
