Rodman Rogers, MD

Dr. Rodman Rogers, M.D., practices with a focus on the clinical application of new technology. This includes minimally invasive treatments for kidney, bladder, and prostate disorders. He has a particular interest in treatments for erectile dysfunction, voiding symptoms, and urinary incontinence in both men and women.

He specializes in laparoscopic and/or robotic surgery for kidney and bladder and prostate cancer, and telescopic surgery (“endourology”) for benign prostate enlargement and urinary stones. He performs the Urolift procedure for prostate obstruction, the no-scalpel vasectomy, and offers in-office sedation for procedures. His practice emphasizes preventive medicine and non-surgical treatment for voiding symptoms, kidney stones, sexual dysfunction, and urologic malignancies where appropriate.

He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Bay Area Physicians for Human Rights, a member of the CPMC Cancer Committee, CPMC Robotic Surgery Program Committee, Medical Executive Committee of the Presidio Surgery Center, and has been on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Medical Society.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rodman Rogers, M.D., is an avid swimmer on the San Francisco Tsunami Masters Swim Team and participates in open water swim events in the San Francisco Bay. He also enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and kiteboarding.
