Dr. Wyker is a kind man and an excellent surgeon. I ve been treated by him for 25 years. I would recommend him to anyone for joint replacements and sports medicine.

I brought my 13 year old son in for an injury. I loved that he talked to my son as the patient and didn’t direct the entire conversation to me! Well done!

This was my first time meeting Dr. Wyker and his team, and it was on the day of my surgery. Everyone was extremely polite and professional. I was nervous going into the procedure, but the team immediately put me at ease. Dr. Wyker took the time to thoroughly explain the surgery and answered all of my questions with knowledge and professionalism. He has excellent bedside manner. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Wyker and his team to my family and friends. Overall, Raleigh Orthopedic Clinic is the best place to go when you need to see an orthopedist.

Joining Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 1987, Dr. Robert Wyker, M.D., has developed his surgical expertise in multiple areas. He specializes in total joint replacement, arthroscopy, shoulder problems and sports medicine. Drawing on his love of sports, he is the Head Team Orthopaedist for North Carolina State University’s athletic department, most particularly the men’s basketball program, and Millbrook High School’s football team throughout his career. He is board certified, a past president of the North Carolina Orthopaedic Association, and a member of multiple orthopaedic societies. He prefers to spend his free time with his wife and four children.
