Dr Saffrin, is a fantastic, highly skilled urologist and the team at the Surgery Center the day of the procedure was excellent. Only one concern not related to Dr. Saffrin specifically. Neither his office or the Surgery Center reached out to me to address my questions until a day before the procedure. I was in the dark about the specifics until then. They sent me info on how to prep but little other info was provided. Perhaps it was my fault and I should have reached out but my overall thought was that communication could have been better and may be a little more proactive.

Dr. Saffrin Is a 1984 graduate of Indiana University and received his medical degree with honors from The Chicago Medical School in 1989. He completed his six years of general surgical and urologic training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Saffrin is actively involved in research and has authored a number of articles on urologic health. He served as the Chief Resident in Urology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Saffrin has been board certified in adult and pediatric urology by the American Board of Urology since 1997 and is an active member of the American Urologic Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of many honorary and academic medical societies.
