I am thrilled to have found a physician who listens to their patients, and truly cares. When you are a patient with multiple areas of injured joints, as well as an autoimmune condition, which has to be worked around it can be daunting. I had pretty much given up the idea of getting a physician to work on these damaged areas, until I found Dr. Patton. Thanks to he, and his great team I have new faith that I can improve my quality of movement!

I have fighting right knee pain for about 5 years. Right before i was going to leave for a month long trip my knee flaired up pretty severe. With one visit Dr. Patton eliminated my pain and my knee has not felt his good in a long time.

Although he did not understand why I was scheduled with him, it was a pleasant OV and he had looked at all my scan results. He is not a surgeon and my Neurosurgeon wanted me scheduled with an orthopedic surgeon at the group, he was the first one available. He did not feel I needed surgical intervention instead physical therapy.

Dr. Patton took time to explain my knee issue as well as showing me on the X-rays and the ultrasound machine which he used to precisely pin point the injection into that area. I've already started to feel relief. While he seems to be naturally nice by his nature it's still obvious Dr. Patton attended and stayed awake during the bedside manners class in med school. He's a big asset for the Jordan Young Institute !

Extremely pleasant. He took the time listen to me ro.listen to me and my pain. I was already feeling overwhelmed by him telling me exactly what was going on, my mind eased up.

I waited a while and then when I was seen I was told my pain was muscular and take Tylenol and sent home with no follow up or explanation of how this occur what to expect next . So rushed it was unacceptable especially after I statothe gravity of my pain!

My PCP wanted me to see a hand specialist and referred me to Jordan and Young. When I made my appointment to see Dr. Patton I was told he was a hand specialist. This was false. Upon meeting Dr. Patton. I asked if he was a hand specialist. He stated he wished people would stop saying this..he was a generalist..took care of all bones and he didn't perform surgery (he referred that to someone else). After reviewing my x-rays he said I had a fractured thumb. He sent the nurse to get a brace..she returned stating there weren't any. Dr. Patton said the order for supplies had not arrived. He said they would figure something out and left. A gentleman appeared and said he was going to make something for my thumb..he made a splint and started to wrap my thumb with self adhesive tape..the tape ran out..he said that would do..I could go buy more tape at the store..it was inexpensive. He left..no one else returned to see about the bandage. I was told I was finished and could leave.

He educated me so much to me about my condition of osteoarthritis . Gave me e he ruins in both knees , witch I had already had from a past doctor we no relief . I walked out of the office for the 1st time in a year and a half 50% of my knee pain was gone . He said it’s not the steroids working but more than likely the liadacain that should start tomorrow ( meaning today) he explained it’s a short term fix but still he gave me relief like I said 1st time in over a year and half . He answered all my questions . My option he is a very good doctor and finding a good doctor in the Carolina’s has not been good for me and that’s why I tried Virginia and I’m so pleased to have found him to work with me for my pain needs
