Dr O’Connell did outstanding surgery on my right shoulder! I kept having severe pain thinking it was fibromyalgia in early 2024. I was seen by him late 2024-December. Long story short📖… He suggested surgery after multiple steroid injections that did not last during 2025... I am now two months post surgery Jan-2026, and I am feeling much much much better, actually better than better🙏🏽! Dr O'Connell did shoulder Arthroscopy for severe OA & bursitis, and what an Awesome job he did🙌🏽… I wanted to just HUG him😉!! I only needed 4 PTs (Key word “I”). The rest was just normal but careful normal activities and gentle stretching with doctor care & medication!!! I highly recommend ORTHOWest Orthopedic providers in general👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 the office staff are very nice as well!. Thank you Dr.O'Connell! I am happy with the outcome🤩

Dr. O’Connell explained everything about my shoulder pain. I know that I really need surgery but I want to wait for now.

I didn't really feel like he asked any questions---just looked at the xrays and gave a quick diagnosis. I realize we have to start somewhere, but I just didn't feel heard.
