Since 2011, he has held multiple roles at the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, including Assistant Professor and Fellowship Director. In addition to a stellar professional record, he holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).

Practice has unreasonable wait times: an hour or more on both occasions. Dr Matthias failed to understand the nature of my concern. I was referred for additional testing on an accompanying symptom but my main concern was not addressed. Also, the referral for testing was never made by the practice, I made it myself after my follow up questions revealed there was no appointment. All in all a lot of time spent with no results.

This guy is the real deal. I believe he truly cares for each of his patients as well as his office and surgical team. He kind and compassionate and will explain your situation until you understand it completely.
