This Dr is truthful and I trust him!
Great doctor
First time with Dr Hurford very happy to have him as my Orthopedic specialist. Made me feel very comfortable and thoroughly explained my condition and how to treat it. Definitely recommended.
He is very articulate and gives you a true assessment.
Good understand my problem, I am thankful
I was happy with the plan he has worked out and not just cut.
I went to a consultation per a referral by one of his SOS colleagues. I am looking for my options to correct spinal stenosis. I felt some hesitation oh his part to start the conversation (maybe because as he told me later there is more than one area that needs attention in my spine to correct all the symptoms that I have). Regardless, I took the opportunity to tell him that I was not seeking surgery right away and before me finishing my sentence he said”well, in that case we can stop this conversation right now, and you have lived with this spinal stenosis for the last 30 years so you can continue taking your pills, continue PT and the injections”. I am a physician, and I was appalled by his interruption and by this rude response. I could have left his office at that moment following his suggestion, but I saved the visit by correcting him that continuing symptomatic treatment is one option. And, then I asked him for his other options. And, he switched attitude.
He was patient, thorough in explaining his suggestions of choices I could make, and he seemed to empathize with my situation.
Dr. Hurford, was very cold and unconcerned. I had an x-ray and a MRI performed to help identify the pain and i have no idea of the results. I am in severe pain and I am reach out for a second opinion.
