A native of Birmingham, Dr. Robert Henderson, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama in 1995. In 2004, Dr. Henderson completed his dermatology residency at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
Dr. Henderson is skilled at treating all skin diseases including skin cancer surgery. As the founder of Dermatologists of Birmingham in 2006, he strives to ensure all patients receive excellent and compassionate care in a welcoming environment.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Henderson enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and two children.
My first visit as new patient, so I have not had enough visits to make an opinion. But doe mt feat visit it went very well. Dr Henderson is very nice.

Efficient and courteous. Listens to concerns. Takes time to explain procedures in layman's terms.
He always has to freeze 3 or 4 spots on my ears and head. I like the way he takes care of my skin spots. He is friendly and gentle as he can be.
