Dr. Robert Getter, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained spinal surgeon at Advanced Orthopedic Center. Prior to joining our team, he was in private practice for 13 years. He provides personalized and minimally invasive surgical care for a comprehensive range of neck and back disorders, including neck pain, back pain, cervical radiculopathy, lumbar radiculopathy (sciatica), myelopathy, scoliosis, lumbar stenosis, cervical stenosis, and spinal fractures.
Dr. Getter completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. Following residency, he pursued his interest in spinal disorders by completing a combined neurosurgical and orthopedic surgical fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona. He is currently an active member of the North American Spine Society.
Dr. Getter's surgical repertoire includes procedures such as decompressive laminectomy and more intricate reconstructive stabilization/fusion surgeries. He remains at the forefront of spinal procedures by staying abreast of the latest advancements in technique and technology.
