He provides personalized and minimally invasive surgical care for a comprehensive range of neck and back disorders, including neck pain, back pain, cervical radiculopathy, lumbar radiculopathy (sciatica), myelopathy, scoliosis, lumbar stenosis, cervical stenosis, and spinal fractures.
Dr. Getter completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. Following residency, he pursued his interest in spinal disorders by completing a combined neurosurgical and orthopedic surgical fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona. He is currently an active member of the North American Spine Society.

Dr Getter is very approachable. He answered all my questions and didn’t rush my appointment.
I’m 76 years old and I have to say that Dr. Getter is without a doubt the most personable doctor I have ever been seen by. He did not rush through my appointment, thoroughly explained why I am having lower back issues, and recommended treatment options so I left without any unanswered questions. His entire staff is friendly and professional, and I highly recommend Dr. Getter!
