He provides personalized and minimally invasive surgical care for a comprehensive range of neck and back disorders, including neck pain, back pain, cervical radiculopathy, lumbar radiculopathy (sciatica), myelopathy, scoliosis, lumbar stenosis, cervical stenosis, and spinal fractures.
Dr. Getter completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. Following residency, he pursued his interest in spinal disorders by completing a combined neurosurgical and orthopedic surgical fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona. He is currently an active member of the North American Spine Society.

So far I have nothing but good things to say about him. My consultation went great! Even though I will be having surgery, he took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions. I was a in pain “squeezed in appointment”, first time seeing him, and he still took his time. Extremely important and put me right at ease. I walked out with a plan knowing all would be well. His calming demeanor kept me calm.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Getter for the wonderful care I received. I had fairly serious back surgery and naturally I was very nervous going into it from the beginning. I felt that I was in excellent hands. The surgery went extremely well and I was amazed at how little pain I experience the entire process was handled with professionalism, skill, and compassion. I felt well cared for and confident throughout my treatment and recovery. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is facing back surgery. I am very grateful for the excellent work and the care I received. It truly made a difficult experience much easier than I ever expected. I will be able now to start playing tennis.
