I found Dr Coles receptive to my questions not only regarding to my knee but also to other medical issues.
He provided me with the information then I need to make a decision about my knee and answered all my questions. I had already researched Dr Coles and he was one of two with the best rating from patients and answering all their questions.

He initially echoed er diagnosis that surgery was optional.
At he un casted what the er doc had applied only 48 hours earlier. He manipulated where my bones had fallen in place by hanging. Put it in a short, open thumb brace.
At end of appt. He said,”you are going to need surgery”
Follow-up appt. I was alone in closed door room. He tried to bully me. Told me without surgery my wrist would be permanently destroyed.
I don’t yet know its future.
If it needs to be surgically rebuilt, after I return home to Maine next week; it seems to me that he has taken from any chance of a natural healing I might have had. All he had to do was leave it alone in the er cast for a week.
I am more than a little upset. His demeanor is horrible. I watched him abusing the nurse.
He couldn’t accept my decision. Turned mid-sentence,& left me sitting alone.
