Dr. Robert Dennis, M.D., grew up in Tyler and remains an active part of the community. He has extensive training in sports medicine, including a fellowship in sports medicine at the North Sydney Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Centre in Sydney, Australia.
Specializing in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, Dr. Dennis is equipped to handle all types of sports-related injuries. Through extensive training and experience, Dr. Dennis is recognized as a leader in East Texas in his field of study. In 2021, Dr. Dennis received the readers’ choice “The Best in Town” award for the best orthopedic surgeon in Tyler.
From 2022 – 2025, Dr. Dennis has been recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor. He was also recognized as one of America’s Leading Doctors by Newsweek in 2025.
