Attentive and explained imaging results showing bone on bone condition. Also discussed my concerns regarding my BMI for surgery as prior ortho doctor would not do surgery unless 40 or less. Dr Cercek assured me a BMI of 45 or less is acceptable. When I’m comfortable for my knee replacement surgery I will contact his office. Dr Cercek’s professional demeanor and compassion put me at ease. I’m totally convinced that I chose an excellent doctor to perform my surgery and my son agreed.

I was told to there 15 mins prior. My appointment was 1:30 pm, I showed up at 1:00 pm. I wasn’t seen until 2:35 pm. My time is just as important as the doctors.

Why in the sophisticated world of medicine and healthcare-related research, especially the plethora of academic, clinical research focused on the COVID pandemic is CORE Institute STILL requiring all patients and staff to don facial masks? The data...the SCIENCE...clearly shows that paper and cloth masking (let alone masking in general) has NEVER shown to have any effect on controlling the spread of COVID. Yet, even with the CDC now saying masks aren't required unless high infection area or person is immune compromised, very elderly, morbidly obese, or has comorbidities that would put that individual at risk., CORE Institute STILL continues a blanket, unsubstantiated policy. Dr. Cercek said he personally could not disagree with me when we discussed this. He said, "I just do what I'm told." Wow. Another sheep. I have lost respect.

Ok I was completely satisfied

He was very clear and going over the X-rays of my left knee and then even compared it to the right knee. He's very conservative and is pro-choice which I like. Not yet ready for a knee replacement yet.

An authorization for gel injections was suppose to of been sent to my PPO. I received a call from CORE that the request was not approved. I followed up with my provider to request information on the non approval. They stated they never received an authorization request from CORE. I called the CORE office and left a VM with information and request for a return call.....5 days later still no call. Finally did an in person office visit and requested to speak with the Doctors PA or MA, was told that could not be done. So I left the same info at front desk as I left on the VM I left now 6 days past. We're back to a wait and see while I deal a bit longer with pain. I expected better communication and emotional intelligence from CORE. I'm now concerned that I made a poor choice in this move for a life changing issue that is of no concern to CORE, as demonstrated by the lack of communication, follow up, and my having to do footwork to obtain information and status of my pain issues.

Doctor started the appointment with a He just took over for Dr. Moore so I was a little bit apprehensive about meeting a new doctor. I know he is a very busy surgeon, but I was given an appointment for my first interview and usually that means they allow extra time for new patients. I felt rushed, I think a little bit more empathy would go a long way. Results from my total knee replacement have not been the best. I ended with a leg shorter than the other It was hard for me to come in to see the doctor and find out I would need surgery on my L knee to help with my issues. With pain and balance. Thank You
