A year ago, Dr. Candypan placed a stent in my blocked LAD artery and has been monitoring me since. I started to have random, erratic, high pulse readings (no angina) while running, after one trip to the ER and changing my HR monitor, and there was no resolution. During one such event, while running, I took a chance and literally ran to his office, hoping to be seen. After explaining the situation, I mentioned my Pacemaker and how it seemed to be related. She left the desk and came back and said, as luck would have it, the Medtronic rep was in, and he volunteered to fit me in during his lunch. 10 minutes later, he found the issue, a setting in the PM, something he had seen before. Kudos to Dr. Candipan's staff; it doesn't get better than that.
