Robert C. Brown, MD

Dr. Robert C. Brown, MD, started Alabama UROGYN in Fairhope, Alabama, to address the growing needs of women who have pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Brown is a urogynecologist who joins the long-established and respected medical team of Urology Associates of Mobile as a provider for female patients in the Gulf Coast region. Dr. Brown provides a variety of procedures for the proper diagnosis and treatment of urogynecological issues.

Dr. Brown grew up locally and went to high school at UMS in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Brown chose Millsaps College to play collegiate football and graduated with honors. In 1993, he completed his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and then completed his residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. He is double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Brown and his wife Jana, moved to Fairhope to be close to their family and raise their two daughters. He started Robert C. Brown, MD, PC, in 1999, and later added other physicians to establish Brown, Pearson, and Guepet Gynecology. He continues to provide excellent care for his established patients at his new location with Alabama UROGYN. Dr. Brown also looks forward to welcoming new patients who seek a compassionate, patient-centered medical environment that offers integrity, respect, and education.

Continued learning is of utmost importance to Dr. Robert Brown, as he offers the latest procedures in gynecologic and urogynecological diagnosis and treatment. His training, in combination with years of experience, allows Dr. Brown to offer advanced care in non-surgical methods, minimally invasive surgery, and complex surgical cases. He is proficient in laparoscopic, robotic, and neuromodulation procedures and serves as an educator to other physicians.
