He has extensive training in several surgical procedures, including Total and Partial Knee Replacements, and Anterior Approach Hip Replacements.
As an orthopedic doctor, patient care is always at the forefront of Dr. Burnham’s mind, and he believes that each and every patient should be treated as if they were his own family. He believes that each patient should have a thorough understanding of their specific condition and be able to choose the best treatment option for themselves.
Dr. Burnham already has already contributed several peer-reviewed research articles, including work on the surgical fixation of bimalleolar equivalent ankle fractures, bioresorbable polymer anchors, knee range of motion after total knee arthroplasty and more.
He has also won several grants, including the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) Research Start Up Grant to conduct his research on The Effect of Knee Height Asymmetry on Gait Biomechanics. Dr. Burnham also won the Schwartz Travelling Fellowship Award given to one graduating chief resident at Loyola to pursue a 4-6 week experience to enhance learning regarding individual practice plan or humanitarian value
Outside of the office, Dr. Burnham enjoys spending time with his family, specifically engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, pickleball, biking, and skiing/snowboarding. He particularly enjoys traveling to other countries to experience the food, culture, and meeting new people.

I was late 10min for an appointment that I took off work for and I was dropped.

Not sure why OrthoAZ has this guy working for them because most of their doctors are great but this guy was absolutely terrible!!!!

He was very kind and gave lots of information regarding my knee pain. I get injections and he did that at well I had no pain! I definitely would recommend him!
Felt like he was judgmental towards my care, sice I have psoriatic arthritis on top of knee pain , bone to bone. I didn't receive any treatment to assist with the pain 😢 while my knee injections came in. He just said go see your Rheumatologist (I have New Patient appt but it's weeks out) and take Tylenol with warm compression. Now I won't be able to enjoy the holidays 😒 with my family. Wish doctors were more understanding when it comes to our pain it's determental to our mental health, especially during the holidays when you want to be active and do your day to day with out having to worry about pain. If my pain level was a 3/4 yes of course doctor I'll be more than happy to take the Tylenol but at a pain level of 7 can't you just give me the steroids or what other options did I have, none. I had to ask him if I could get physical therapy because he didn't think I needed it. God help me find a doctor who's understanding of my needs/Pain LORD !

He didn’t read the order. He should not been assigned for me. I was to have my right lower leg and foot exerted and instead he had my upper thigh and knee existed. I was charged $ 30.00 for nothing. He was arrogant.
