Robert Baird, III, M.D.

Dr. Robert Baird is a joint replacement specialist. Born and raised in Alabama, Dr. Baird completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he gained valuable experience in diagnosing and treating injuries and disorders. He subsequently completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction of the hip and knee in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has a special interest in joint replacement surgery when nonsurgical treatment is ineffective and specializes in partial knee replacement, total knee and hip replacement and revision surgery.

What motivates Dr. Baird as a physician is the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and provide care that helps them resume the activities they enjoy.

His interests outside of work primarily involve outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and running.
