Dr. Rina Jain, M.D., is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, fracture care, and general orthopedic care.
She earned her medical degree, completed her internship, residency, and fellowship, all at the University of Toronto. She is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and has published many peer-reviewed papers.
Dr. Jain's special interests lie in the management of knee arthritis and hip arthritis, specializing in total hip replacement and knee replacements and revisions. She is also trained in robotic partial knee replacement surgery using the MAKOplasty system as well as Blue Belt Technologies robotic guidance.
Prior to moving to San Diego in December 2002, she practiced at the University Health Network and The Scarborough Hospital in Toronto.
