It felt a bit like lead generation for surgery. Waited almost two hours for an appointment in which Dr Seldes was distracted and immediately convinced I need surgery with limited discussion or review of my case.

I see PA in his office for my knee. Not ready to do surgery. Office is busy. So do not think you are rushing. In and out. Very please with staff. The other office had much more room

made me wait for over 90minutes. my appt was for 9:45am and i waited to see dr. seldes at 11:30 which my visit only took 15 minutes. he should get rid of his employees who are rude, who doesn't care about patients,and are bunch of liars telling patients that they are next in line. they purposely overbook appointment and does not even apologize for over booking appointments. WOULD YOU WANT TO STAY IN LINE FOR OVER 90 MINUTES FOR SHOPPING?

I was very upset I drove over an hour and waited 11 days for my post op appointment to see Dr. Seldes, but instead was seen by another dr I have never even met.

Dr.Seldes, Is by far; extremely diligent in his Orthopedic practice and care. Including all his team and staff along my journey to recovery- I couldn't see myself in better hands. His knowledge and dedication to treating my injuries was extremely helpful in his suggestions and procedures. After numerous injuries from a traumatic accident- he's done well for where I was. I couldn't say enough about Dr. Richard Seldes, just hands down- The Best!

My visit was three stars. The extremely long wait. My x-rays was confusing. My referrals was for the knees and hips/both. I had to explained and to reiterated. Which was cleared. Then moving from room to room with 30-45 minutes wait. Got my right knee injected with cortisone I had to ask about the left knee and was given an appointment for March. My x-rays was viewed and explained in the busy area by the receptionist desk not by Dr Seldes but by Adam. I left feeling better for the relief from my knee pain but how Dr Seldes patient relations they need to updated to our new norm for under COVID-19... As with me and my issues I will be looking elsewhere once my prescription referral ends..

The wait time was excessively long. The wait area was very crowdy and made wait period very inconvenient.

Best care for my knees !

Dr Seldes is wonderful. He has helped my wife and I to overcome several issues with our arms, legs, hips, back and feet following an incident where we both tripped over non electrical lights that were almost hidden from view at the bottom large towers in a big hall that had marble floors. Then in our most recent visit he immediately know what was wrong with my thumb that had suddenly become unusable, clicked and was very painful. I simply could not use it. He immediately prescribed an injection and it was done that same day in his office. It has now been 5 days and my thumb is back to being so good that I able to use that hand to open a very tight lid on a jar of Bread and Butter pickles. We will always go to Dr Seldes for any of the situations he has so graciously helped us with.

Wonderful Doctor!

Waiting is unbelievably long (1.5 hours), then I get to see his PA for 5 min to explain my pain. The PA tries to diagnose on behalf of the doctor, then the doctor comes in to repeat what the PA said in which the recommendation is getting a steroid shot on my knee. Then then doctor walks out of the room spending only 2-3 min discussion, and the PA comes in to give me a shot in my knee! With all due respect to PAs, I do not feel comfortable with shot give by a non-doctor as it's not a flu shot for god's sake. I definitely do not recommend this practice.

Having total hip replacement surgery was very scary for me. Dr. Seldes is an excellent physician and made the process virtually painless. He is straight to the point not sugar coating anything. He was direct in answering any questions I had and now after 1 month I am already doing things I couldn't do before. I would absolutely refer him to friends and family should they ever have to have joint replacement. Thank you Dr. Seldes for enriching my life!

Dr Seldes does a great job

Waited upwards of 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. In addition, I had arrived 10 minutes early. The doctor spent less that 5 minutes in the room with me. I was given a referral to an MRI, but there was no guidance given on recovery meanwhile.

Was very informative as to my diagnosis and the options for further surgery. I like that he is to the point as to options.

I had surgery with Dr. Richard Seldes and he is great. Did not like the hospital LIJ I Forest Hills service is horrible.

This visit was much better than some of my previous visits. There was a new PA who was thorough in explaining my test results. Dr Seldes explained the treatment plan for going forward.

I didn't to get to see Dr Seldes I guess he was too busy. I got to see his assistance who was very helpful.

Waiting time should be reduced for patients who arrived on time for appointments.

I'm sure Dr. Seldes is a good doctor, however I found the office to be way too chaotic for my taste. And found his style too hurried.

Dr. Richard I made 5 surgeries after an accident, 1 in my right knee, 1 on my shoulder ,3 in my elbow. And now i am excellent, and periodically i reviewed, I recommend , also all his staff that works with the is the best of the best.
