Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Dr. Saleeby Jr. attended North Carolina State University graduating in 1980 with a B.S. and M.S. in Zoology and Physiology. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill medical school before completing a general surgery residency program at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Saleeby Jr. later completed a Colon & Rectal Surgery Fellowship in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is a Board-Certified Colon & Rectal Surgeon. Upon completing his fellowship he returned to Raleigh and has been in practice with his father since 1990.
Dr. Saleeby, Jr. is an active member and past president of the Piedmont Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons and a member of the NC & Wake County Medical Societies and The Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Dr. Saleeby, Jr. is married to Jackie Newlin-Saleeby and they have two daughters, Joanna and Julie. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, playing golf, traveling and is active in his church, Bible Study Fellowship, Athletes in Action and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Dr. Saleeby answered all of my questions and explained the procedure so I could understand. The staff was very friendly.
It was my first visit for hemorrhoid treatment & it went well. Will go back 2 more times. Appreciated the take-home instruction sheet with more details about the procedure & suggestions for self care.
I did appreciate that Dr.Saleeby and the nurse I had have good bedside manner. They were both kind and professional. The reason I give two stars is that I was hoping for solutions for my continuing anal irritation that’s been plaguing me for almost two years. Just to be evaluated cost me $250 with insurance. The exam itself was painful, and it made the area hurt worse than when I can in. Then, I was told to just keep using the cream I had previously been prescribed that didn’t make any difference. I think my case is unique and Dr.Saleeby is just prescribing what is typical, but I don’t think my case is typical. But I also don’t think he’s trying to figure out what else might be going on. So, $250 later, I leave with a sore bum and no promising answers.
Dc Saleeby has been my doctor since 2015. I had gone through surgeries and different kind of treatments with him. I can 100% say he is the best doctor i ever had. He has impact my life in a positive way every time I see him. I definitely recommend him and his office.
I really liked this doctor. My husband was the patient and I am the reporter. We both worked in Healthcare all of our lives. I was very impressed with how Dr. Saleeby took the time to address our concerns and listened to us. A lot of times doctor's are in a hurry and are very dismissive. This was not the case. I would definitely recommend him to people.
