When he first walked into the room and saw the tray with the injection which is what I asked whoever checked me in and he said oh it looks like you talked to someone into an injection what a lousy thing to say !
Did not appreciate the discharge good luck with a smiley face! I found him a bit arrogant and not very kind. When you’re in pain you want someone that wants to help you not just someone that wants to throw you into surgery!

Gentle personable kind manner. Really addresses concerns, takes time to answer all questions; sincerely concerned about patient and keeps whole perspective of patients quality of life in mind as talking through possible treatment options.

Dr. Richard Bahner practices at 3787 Shipyard Boulevard in Wilmington and 8115 Market Street, Suite 108. Dr. Bahner received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, NC and earned his medical degree from the Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He then performed his residency in general surgery at Emory University Hospital, his orthopedic residency at the Tampa Orthopedic Program in Tampa, Florida and at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopedics in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Bahner then completed a one-year surgical fellowship in reconstructive hand and upper extremity at the University of Chicago Division of Orthopedics in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Richard Bahner is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and is fellowship-trained in reconstructive hand and microsurgery and surgery of the upper extremity.
