Dr. Rothschild is very devoted to excellent patient care and continues to be a great patient advocate within the healthcare system. Dr. Richard B. Rothschild attended the University of California, San Diego where he obtained a degree in Biochemistry and graduated with highest honors, he also received Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude designations. He then enrolled at Harvard Medical School also graduating with honors. Dr. Rothschild is board certified in Cardiology and Intervention Cardiology.
He began his practice in Ventura County in 1988 and therefore began many affiliations with the medical community in Ventura County. He served as the president of the American Heart Association and also a member of the Board of Directors. He has had several administrative roles at St. John’s Regional Medical Center as well.
Dr. Rothschild is the Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 776 in West Los Angels County from 2010 to present time. He is very active in volunteering his time to our local schools and athletics programs in the area. He enjoys kayaking, hiking and spending time with his family and friends.
