Today was my first time seeing Dr. Richard Martin. I am in severe knee pain, and he took me serious and listened and seem compassionate to what I am going through. He was understanding and explained how my health needs to improve (my BMI needs to be drastically reduced) before I can be a candidate for a knee replacement - which is what I will eventually need. Steroid injection for now, as a stop gap to lower the inflamation. Very good bed-side manner.

I've been a patient of Dr. Martin's on a couple of occasions for surgery. I feel he is a very gifted orthopedic surgeon. What he does lack however is bedside manner and ANY sense of humor. He DOES listen, and I believe he has the patients best interest at heart. I've found I need to be very assertive and direct when speaking with him about my needs as a human being. Once you get past that, he is amenable to reasonable requests. I would return to him if I needed further surgery.

Dr Martin was so helpful with me regarding a knee issue. I was nervous thinking I might need surgery on my knee. He assured me he would do everything to avoid surgery. His assistant gave me a steroid shot on both knees and I walked out of his office with a slight limp. I had walked into the office with extreme stiffness and in considerable pain. He is a wonderful Dr, who I have been going to for 15 years. I have recommended him to several friends who had excellent results with knee and hip problems. He is the best!

He is the best. I have seen him for many years. He did one knee replacement that went very well. Looking now at second replacement but he is willing yo try a few more treatments until then.

WAITED 35 MINUTES TO SEE THE Dr then 40 minutes to get an x-ray and left 2 messages for a call back and never got one back They said you would get a call back the same day No way !!!

The Doc has been totally up front about the process I am going through. He is not aggressive about invasive treatment options and trusts his on-sight physical therapists go get me to my goal, which is an increased range of motion, no pain, and regaining strength.

I had done a lot of damage to my right shoulder and if I didn't have the surgery I would have lost the use of it. I was told that it would take up to a year for return of full motion. I had my surgery mid September and was back in the gym in January. I have roation of my arm. He has also done my carpal tunnel surgery which was also a success. He's caring, to the point, and excellent. What more could you ask for .

I have had both of my knees done by Dr. Martin. The first was May of 2017 and the second was February of this year. I have healed quicker than expected. The scar from the first surgery is minimal. My other knee is looking like it will be the same. Dr. Martin showed me what to expect and made me feel relaxed when I finally made the decision to have the surgeries. I would recommend him to anyone...and I have one so already.

I did not get to see Dr. Martin but his PA and x-ray tech we both very nice.
