Everyone from check in to exit was friendly and professional. Dr Manzo is kind , caring , professional and explained diagnosis and treatment plan well .

Dr. Manzo is an exceptionally talented doctor. Beyond his medical expertise, he displays a genuine concern for and interest in his patients health. NOSS is most fortunate to have a person of his caliber him in the group.

My appointment was for 10:30 am, however I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork ( even though I have been a patient for many years). I arrived at 10:15 and filled out the paperwork. I was done before 10:30.
Then I sat and waited. At 11 am, I told a staff member that the doctor was unable to keep the 10:30 appointment and would they like to reschedule? I was ushered into the exam room at 11:05. The doctor arrived at 11:10. The exam took about 10 minutes.
While I understand the doctors time is valuable, my time is no less valuable. To me, waiting 40 minutes to see the doctor is unacceptable.

First time visit - took a lot of time, reviewed information forwarded by my PCP, examined areas of pain, reviewed history, showed documentation of what was happening and advised corrective action. Answered all questions and made me feel very comfortable. So glad I was referred to Dr. Manzo.

Dr. Richard L. Manzo, M.D., is an experienced leader in orthopaedic surgery in Connecticut. He focuses his practice on injuries and other painful conditions of the upper extremity including the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. This includes tendon and microvascular surgery in the hand, complex elbow surgery, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair as well as anatomic and reverse total Shoulder replacement surgery.
Working in a highly technical and specialized area within a comprehensive musculoskeletal group like NOSS allows Dr. Manzo to work across disciplines to quickly diagnose and treat patients with a multitude of upper extremity problems. He strives to return patients to optimum function as quickly as possible.
Dr. Manzo graduated from Princeton University where he lettered 3 years in varsity football. As a Division I college athlete he understands the importance of sports and works to return athletes to optimum function as quickly as possible. He has been named one of Connecticut’s top doctors in Connecticut Magazine for four consecutive years. He completed his Hand/Upper-extremity Fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center and The New England Baptist Hospital, in Boston, MA. He is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with added specialty certification in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery.
