Dr. Singleton has a diverse neurosurgical focus, treating most disorders of the brain, spine and nervous system. Areas of special interest include surgical and Gamma Knife treatment of brain tumors, spinal surgery ranging from minimally invasive outpatient surgeries to complex tumor surgery and fusions, as well as revision surgery for patients who have had previous spinal surgeries. He is happy to see patients for second opinions and enjoys working to find less invasive ways to treat spinal problems.
In 2011, Dr. Singleton returned home to Richmond and joined Neurosurgical Associates. He is honored to have been named a Top Doc in Neurosurgery and/or Spine Surgery by Richmond Magazine.
I never saw him. I only saw his nurse practitioner. I do have an issue but I guess it wasn’t serious enough for him. I’m used to seeing assistants for after visits but not the initial visit. I think this is very poor.
Honest regarding need for surgery. To the point. Explains in layman’s terms. Cares about his patients.
Dr. Singleton answered my questions and listened to my concerns. We agreed on a plan forward.
Dr. Singleton is very professional and he cares about whether you understand. He makes sure you ask any questions you want to ask.
Excellent bedside manner! Stalwart!
Did not see him, only nurse practitioner.
I did see him ,seen his associate.
He needs to introduce himself before starting. As a nurse, I always introduce myself every time I enter a room even if it’s a patient I’ve been caring for long term. Nice guy tho
Dr. Singleton is the best neurosurgeon there is. He is not only competent, but explains everything thoroughly. He is also gentle and kind.
Very pleasant, professional, direct to the point, took time to listen. Very reassuring about a possible procedure.
