Dr. Richard Roe, M.D. is a Board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences with honors at the Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Roe went on to receive a Masters of Health Sciences degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He then attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA and completed an internship in medicine at the The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Thereafter, Dr. Roe completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Hospital and New York University. He went on to complete a two year vitreoretinal fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
Dr. Roe has been involved with numerous national clinical trials and has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on diseases of the retina, uveitis, and vitreoretinal surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, and the Korean American Medical Association.

He was knowledgeable about his specialty, but he did not exhibit human decency, care, or respect for the patient. His staff member was aggressive over the seeing eye dog and constantly continued to escalate the situation with demanding arbitrary rules that are not legal with a fighting attitude. There was one good staff member, he should train under someone with more decency and professionalism, as this doctor falls short. Do not recommend.
