He earned his biology degree from Florida International University.
After a 13-year career training bottle-nosed dolphins, Dr. Guinand embarked on a cross-country journey which eventually brought him to SMOC. His trek included graduating in the top five percent of his class from Nova Southeastern University, working 15 years as a board-certified Family Practice doctor specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine, and serving five of those years as a physician for SEAL teams at Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, VA.
Throughout his career Dr. Guinand has worked towards new and better methods to improve the health and well-being of his patients. He is committed to getting people healthy in the quickest, most cost-effective methods available without the use of surgery. An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Guinand loves surfing, snowboarding and offers his expertise with youth and college baseball, soccer and other sports.
