Dr. Richard D. Ramos, M.D. is a physiatrist, a physician who diagnoses and treats patients with injuries or conditions that affect how they function. Dr. Ramos’s comprehensive approach to medicine enables him to treat the whole person, not just the area of dysfunction or pain. As a physiatrist, Dr. Ramos provides patient-centered care through a variety of non-surgical treatments such as epidural steroid injections (ESI), nerve conduction studies (NCV), radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation. He cares for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric stages of life.

Dr. Ramos is very thorough and considerate - he ‘sees’ the individual, not just the condition.

I wish I could give zero stars. Went on a 20-minute rant about how pain med management makes him zero money and how I was his 13th patient today who needed pain meds. Extremely rude and unprofessional and made me cry.

Cares and listens to his patient's concerns during visits and seems to remember things that most doctors forget. Thank you

I was in a severe car accident in 2020 and was referred to Dr. Ramos for back pain. He was kind, professional, caring, and had a nice sense of humor when he could see I was nervous. I continue to see him when needed. He’s the greatest. 😊
