Named one of Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Docs for 13 consecutive years (2010-2023), Dr. Cautilli specializes in sports medicine and has helped thousands of patients heal from injuries and orthopedic ailments. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell University with a degree in Physics, Dr. Cautilli attended Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University affiliated hospitals and his fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Cautilli has vast experience working with college and professional athletes, is known as a subject matter expert in patellofemoral disorders, has published many peer-reviewed articles and presented at local and national conferences throughout his career.
At Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists, Dr. Cautilli a non-operative orthopedic surgeon who will be evaluating patients for a variety of orthopedic problem, believes his decades of surgical experience provides a depth of knowledge for his patients. “The majority of orthopedic problems can be treated conservatively, and I try to get as many people as possible back to their previous level of function without surgery,” he says. “But if they need surgery, my background allows me to work very closely with our surgical team to plan for the most minimally invasive option to get them back to function as quickly and completely as possible.”
Dr. Cautilli is a familiar physician and active member of the community in the Newtown/Langhorne area. Together with his wife, who is a nurse, Dr. Cautilli raised four children in the area and is enjoying watching them embark on their own careers. He enjoys fly-fishing, bike riding, and staying active to keep up with the adventurous spirit of his children, who have even gotten him on a zip-line or two.
