He has been my surgeon since 2017 and performed 2 back surgeries. I had been in a wheelchair prior to surgery. Dr. Boyer is a kind, caring man. He listens and hears your concerns. He truly wants to help. He is an excellent surgeon. I just went again for a check up and he remembered who I am after not seeing me for 3 years.

Dr. Boyer earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed his residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia Hospital and Clinics. As a member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgery, Tennessee Medical Association, and American Medical Association, Dr. Boyer has given several lectures on presentations on different neurosurgery topics. He also recently served as president of the Tennessee Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Boyer has practiced neurosurgery in Knoxville since 1998.
