On this first visit, everything from the staff and Dr Boyer was very professional, gentle, and kind. And most importantly, I left fully informed with all my questions and concerns being addressed! ! I felt like I was heard! I didn’t feel rushed! I’m very thankful for this team of health care providers! They’re the real deal!

Dr. Richard P. Boyer, M.D. is a board-certified neurosurgeon with a special interest in spine surgery and deep brain stimulation. He has been published on these subjects in various publications. Dr. Boyer earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed his residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia Hospital and Clinics. As a member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgery, Tennessee Medical Association, and American Medical Association, Dr. Boyer has given several lectures on presentations on different neurosurgery topics. He also recently served as president of the Tennessee Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Boyer has practiced neurosurgery in Knoxville since 1998.
