He has been my surgeon since 2017 and performed 2 back surgeries. I had been in a wheelchair prior to surgery. Dr. Boyer is a kind, caring man. He listens and hears your concerns. He truly wants to help. He is an excellent surgeon. I just went again for a check up and he remembered who I am after not seeing me for 3 years.

On this first visit, everything from the staff and Dr Boyer was very professional, gentle, and kind. And most importantly, I left fully informed with all my questions and concerns being addressed! ! I felt like I was heard! I didn’t feel rushed! I’m very thankful for this team of health care providers! They’re the real deal!

As a member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgery, Tennessee Medical Association, and American Medical Association, Dr. Boyer has given several lectures on presentations on different neurosurgery topics. He also recently served as president of the Tennessee Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Boyer has practiced neurosurgery in Knoxville since 1998.
