Dr. Boyer has operated on my handicapped daughter, my wife, and 5 times on myself. He listens well, explains stuff well, and spends the time with you until you are comfortable with and understand what he is saying. He answers all your questions. Very knowledgeable and skilled. Never had any problem with his surgeries.

Dr. Boyer earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed his residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia Hospital and Clinics. As a member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgery, Tennessee Medical Association, and American Medical Association, Dr. Boyer has given several lectures on presentations on different neurosurgery topics. He also recently served as president of the Tennessee Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Boyer has practiced neurosurgery in Knoxville since 1998.
